Matt's sweet gramma lives in Florida and we always send her Christmas gift by mail ... this year I wanted to make her a "family tree" slate ... hmm, how to mail? I am sending it the Uncle Tom and Aunt Lorraine express ... gramma's brother and his wife live here in Titusville in the summer and by gramma in the winter. They leave Friday for Florida and offered to take Gramma's gift, store it until Christmas and then give it to her... perfect! So ... on my never ending list for this past Saturday was making this gift. I'm happy with how it turned out especially since I'm not an artist and this is the first slate I've made.
