Nathan and I are pulling away at the hot taffy.
Grace was so excited to have her own cup of hot chocolate!
Sled riding is harder as an adult ... because now I'm the one pulling a child back UP the hill!
To celebrate my birthday, we spent the afternoon sled riding as a family then went back to my mom's to warm up by the fireplace, drink hot chocolate and make homemade taffy ... just like we did at my grandparents' farm when I was little. It was simple and fun!
And of course my made made some of my favorite foods and turtle cake for dinner! yummy!
And I had lots of sweet cards and calls on my birthday from family and friends! thanks.
