Dryer Balls

I purchased this 100% wool yarn at Joanns on clearance. Two skeins.
Next, I rolled 5 small balls placing them in a knee high stocking ... tying a knot between balls. Run through a couple rounds of laundry (hot loads work the best) - washer and dryer. Then roll with more yarn and felt again.


This is what the end balls look like.

Toss them in your dryer ... no need for dryer sheets anymore!

I've been making our own laundry detergent and fabric softener for about a year now ... just finished by first bucket of detergent! Recently, I've been learning more about making my own cleaning products and just made these dryer balls which replace dryer sheets. You can find a tutorial on how to make them here.
