My sweet boy is 6 now!

Here he is ... my sweet 6 year old boy.

He is doing great in Kindergarten this year ... reading and writing more and more each day. He is teaching Grace so she's ready for Kindergarten. He loves to be read to, write and draw. His interest are quite well rounded from science to history to geography and literature.

He is a sweet friend to his classmates and enjoys these new friends. But his best friend is still his sister Grace. They love to play together and don't care about the invisible gender lines. They definately have their moments of fighting but care so much for each other.

Nathan continues to be a great eater ... fruit and vegetables a favorite and MILK! He's grown to 4' 1" and weighs almost 60lbs. He loves to help me cook and is proud to carry his lunch to school with sandwiches made from mommy's homemade bread.

Nathan loves to play construction (digging under our back porch is a favorite), trains, do puzzles and word searches, play games, hide out in his tent, play on his car mat ... just PLAY! He is a great independent player and has a fabulous imagaination.

I am so proud of the child of God he is becoming. The teachers at his school continue to comment how respectful, obedient and kind he is. I remind him that they are seeing God in him. He can't get enough of his Bible and automatically thinks to pray when someone is hurt or something is wrong. He is such a joy and a blessing!
