We joined a local homeschooling coop on their fieldtrip to our local fire and police stations. Nathan and Grace loved it especially since we are friends with one of the fireman and one of the police officers.
We also attended a bat program Tuesday evening at Woodcock Creek Nature Center. We learned about local bats and learned how to make bat houses. Nathan and Grace each received a bat house to bring home. I love the flexibility of homeschooling because there is so much to learn not at a desk!
