We have been studying birds for the month of January. We have learned about John James Audubon, spent time bird watching every morning cuddled in our window seat, documented what birds we saw each day, created a bird feeder journal where we drew sketches of the birds and wrote observations, and ... Matt and Nathan built this bird feeder that the birds LOVE! We plan to put it on a pole but for now it has found a home on the corner of our deck railing. Nathan and Grace can identify all 8 of our regular birds and tell something special about each one ... proud mommy moment!
