Mom and I had a dress making day a few Saturdays ago.

Peru mission trip updates:
* Trip dates are October 23rd - 30th.
* Our family is blessed to have received enough support from you,
our family and friends, for our family costs.
* Our whole group and another family going still need more money ... plus we are wanting to buy items to bless the people with while there.
*As a whole group, we have had a picnic dinner, silent auction, wood splitting/stacking job, yardsale, sub sales and a couple other small things to raise the group fundraiser part of our trip.
* So if you were still planning to send us money for this trip, please do!... making the check out to us.
We will then buy items to take to the people God has ready for us to minister to in Peru or pass it
on to our group. Thank you.
* All four of us applied for and have received our passports.
* We have all our needed vaccines ... only Matt and I had to get shots and only one each!
* We are making dishrags (thanks Joanne and Ms. Marjorie in Richmond), scrubbies, pillowcase dresses (thanks mom, Johanna, Tonya, and Ginger), and dolls to take with us.
* We are also gathering crayons and coloring books. (my homeschool co-op is collecting coloring books and we were given 50 boxes of Crayola crayons)
* We are making personal care kits for teens and adults. (we still need to buy or receive items for these)
* Please be praying for safety on this trip, unity among the team, servants' hearts, God's hand to be upon this trip, and God's provision (Matt along with other team members going will be taking the time
off work without pay).
We are BLESSED that you are part of this trip with us!!
