Wool Fun - part 2

We enjoyed another day learning about wool from our 

sweet friends Jenn and April.

Today we learned how to...

flick (combing the hay etc. out of the wool)

and...

card the wool!

("brushing" the wool to get all the fibers going in the same direction)

We blended all three colors together when carding

part of our wool ...

but are also carding each color on its own.

Look at our beautiful wool!

Next, we will learn how to spin our wool into yarn.

The kids can't wait and are already

brainstorming what they want made from it.
