Colwell History Museum - Colonial America exhibit

Nathan made this sign to welcome guest to our museum.
We've been studying Colonial America and wanted to
share what we've learned and done before
moving into pre-Revolutionary War.

Guests were greeted by our hosts...
 Grace in her mob cap
and Nathan in his tri-corner hat.

Guests were shown a 10 minute video made
by Nathan and Grace sharing all about
Colonial America times.
(I couldn't get the movie to upload on here.
But I have it on dvd so ask if you'd like to see it.)

After viewing the "feature presentation", guests were
able to view "artifacts"...
Ship Grathan was docked and
available for tours.

The timeline Nathan and Grace have been making
as we learn was displayed around our kitchen
table along with their history journals
and items they made...

timeline with history journals and dip candles

timeline going around the corner

the rest of the timeline with hearth bread,
Grace's knitting,
wool at the stages of our production
(sheered, cleaned and dyed, flicked and carded)
(we learned how to spin the wool the next day)
and copies of Nathan's News.

We hope you enjoyed your virtual tour of
the Colwell history museum - Colonial America.
