June was done and we were into July before I knew it!
We all finished up our school year on June 10th
and rolled right into summer.
(The reality that both my kids will be in high school
next year and doing classes online has not hit me yet.)
We've been working on yard work, gardening,
firewood, and maintenance jobs around home.
We picked yummy strawberries to eat fresh and freeze.
We had a yard sale to help simplify and earn ice cream money!
Matt and Nathan spent a few days roofing helping Matt's cousin.
And Grace helped a friend by babysitting her three kids a couple days.
We are thankful for these opportunities to earn a little extra money.
I cleaned up and am painting two old cabinets we salvaged.
We attending a few graduation parties and had guests to our home.
We went for morning walks.
Here are a few pictures that got snapped ...
Grace participated in a week long soccer camp
sponsored by a Meadville church.
She loved it!
To celebrate Matt on Father's day,
we made special meals, gave him gifts,
and went evening fishing.
We were gifted with a day at the Keystone Safari.
It was a fun experience especially for our
animal-lovin' girl and dad!
The boys started working on our winter's wood
Memorial Day weekend and finished it by the
end of June. Nathan is a big help with splitting.
They worked hard!!
Life is fuller and busier than I like it to be, but it is good
and we are blessed!
(I didn't say it was easy because it isn't. But God is faithful
to us and we trust Him!)
What have you been up to so far this summer?
