Updates from Wednesday, October 23rd ...
we were up early and blessed with a cooked breakfast at my mom's
the kids jumped out of bed before 6am ... wow!
we met our team in Franklin and were taken to the Pittsburgh airport by the United Brethern church
we met up with Linda, our FWM leader, in Pittsburgh
we smoothly got through luggage check in and security and were off to Houston on time
Nathan and Grace even got a tour of the cock pit because it was their first time flying (photo above)

we arrived in Houston, ate some lunch and boarded our plane to Lima on time ...
but after sitting on the plane for 1 1/2 hrs were taken off the plane b/c a latch broke
5 1/2 hrs after original planned take off, we headed to Lima in a different plane
(I found out that I can't sleep on a plane.)
we arrived in Lima at 3:30 am (Peru time is1 hour behind us)
made it through immigration and customs with little problem
and all our luggage arrived with us!!
we arrived at our hotel at 5am and slept for a couple hours before starting day 2 ...
