Our Thanksgiving tradition

Jon (who is being smothered with love from the girls),
Matt and I all worked together at
Judson Baptist Camp during our college years. 
After college, Jon married Tonya ...
the next summer, Matt and I were married ...
that fall, we started our Thanksgiving tradition ...
we spend Wed evening through Sun morning together ...
each Thanksgiving has looked a little different
because we take turns hosting, another Judson friend and his
wife no longer join us, and we've all had children ...
but we still look forward to this time together ...
this year, we played games (we do every year!!)

read "Five Kernals of Corn" and shared what our hearts are thankful for ...
one thing for each of the five kernals of corn on our plates at Thanksgiving dinner!

were silly and had fun

ate way too much yummy food!

read Squanto, friends of the Pilgrims to the kiddos

made ... magic playdough, Tonya and I made dryer balls
 and Matt and Jon made Nathan and Grace's
Christmas gift ... you'll have to wait to see it later!

laughed and laughed and laughed

and just enjoyed being together!

(here the kids are cuddled up eating popcorn, sipping on hot chocolate
while watching Home Alone after sled riding)
