June was a FULL month ... lots of JOYS! (click on collage to see a zoomed in version)
1. Matt finished his first year teaching at Cathedral Prep with a smile on his face!
(those who know the story of the previous year of "teaching", you understand the GRANDNESS of this!)
2. We spent an afternoon ignoring the to-do list and played wiffle ball together... just us four in our yard.
3. We had a yard sale raising money for our local pregnancy center. Grace made bracelets with her rainbow loom to sell at the yard sale and made $11 for the pregnancy center. Way to go Grace!
4. French and Indian War reenactment ... our history boy was thrilled!
5. Celebrated our "daddy" who loves only God more than us, works hard to take care of us, and is so much fun! Happy Father's Day Matt!
6. Spent a week volunteering at Judson Baptist Camp directing Juniors (kids going into 4th-6th grade). We spent the week worshiping our Savior, teaching the Word of God, being silly, laughing and playing hard, but best of all we loved on the campers and staff with God's overflowing love!
7. Eating on our back porch! (one of my FAVORITE things!)
8. Grace and I had fun writing in her "diary" with her ink and quill pen set from Mt. Vernon.
9. Spent a wonderful evening having dinner at friends' home and visiting.
10. Enjoyed an afternoon of swimming and homemade popsicles with our friends.
(the mommies enjoyed these cappuccino ice pops)
11. Missed our daddy like crazy while he was away for a week at a class in Rochester.
