Here are my two scouts!
As a family, we are part of the new Trail Life
and American Heritage Girls
troops here in Titusville.
We are excited to be part of these Christian scouting
groups where we have the opportunity
to help train up boys to be men of honor
and girls to be women of integrity!
I have loved how our study of ancient history has
spread beyond the boundaries of history
to science, art, literature, and more.
The kids came up with their own nitron solution
and "mummified" apples.
We made clay tablets and they carved their
names in Cuneiform on the tablets.
We've done lots of building challenges including
an Egyptian pyramid with toothpicks and
marshmallows.
And here is the biggest "yeehaw" of September.
Our cowgirl turned 10 years old.
Grace has such a sweet spirit and "goes with the flow"!
She loves to create with her hands and give to others!
Grace is becoming quite efficient in the kitchen
and with household chores except making her bed. (smile)
She glows with confidence when I encourage
her that she is learning to be
a great wife and mommy!
She has become a mommy's girl
and still loves to play with her doll.
Grace loves to fix her own hair and
has her own style with clothes!
Have I mentioned that she loves horses
and keeps hoping to find one in our barn?
But best of all she loves her family and
wants to be a girl after God's own heart!
We are so proud of her!
We celebrated in "cowgirl" style.
The photo booth idea was so. much. fun.
Daddy's pink birthday roses for Grace.
Since last birthday, we bought a container to keep
her dried roses in ...until her wedding so they
can be thrown by the flower girl.
Makes me heart melt!
