When we arrived at the community center Friday morning to put together the wheelchairs for mass distribution day, children of all ages were dancing in the open courtyard area.
It was super cool to watch!!

After the students were done dancing, we had the opportunity to share the Gospel with them
through Salvation bracelets. While we tied their bracelets on, Nathan, Grace and I
sang "Jesus Loves Me" to them in Spanish. They just smiled and giggled.
One girl rubbed my arm repeating "blanco" which means white. I laughed!
We all worked hard (our team plus the many awesome volunteers from Camino de Vida)
to put together 100 (yep you read that right) wheelchairs.
Nathan was in charge of our family's tool belt and tools.

Grace quickly made friends with Celeste ... her gramma was a teacher at the community center so
Celeste was just hanging out and got to play with Nathan and Grace.
We gave her a box of crayons and a coloring book ... she got a huge smile on her face and giggled so much you would have thought we gave her the key to a toy store.
The kids used the boxes from the wheelchairs to make a house.
I LOVE how Nathan and Grace didn't care about the differences between them and
the children in Peru ... they loved on them and played so well together!!
