Day 9 of Peru trip ... was A LOT of traveling and getting sick ...
we left Peru at 2:30 am and walked in the door of our home at 9pm
so instead of telling you about our turbulence and Grace throwing up on the plane ...
let me tell you about our new friends...
We were so blessed with new friends in Peru. Above is Pastor Daniel, Margot and Lisa.
Pastor Daniel had a quiet calming presence and loved our children.
Margot has such a gift of hospitality!
Lisa has such a sweet spirit and we enjoyed our talks with her.
(She is from the states but in Peru for 2 years working with Camino de Vida)

Liliana often sat near Nathan and I on our "autobus". She is so gentle!
She is learning English and we are learning Spanish so we'd talk on the
bus helping each other. She called Nathan her "little English teacher".
Paige is also from the US and working with CDV.
Grace loved on Paige and they became quick friends.
Paige has a great laugh that is contagious!
Here is Nick (one of the pastors from CDV that led our group) with Nathan and Matt.
Nick was very laid back and had a great sense of humor (aka sarcasm).
We loved getting to know Nick, his wife Kristin and their three cuties.
We were blessed in different ways by each of these new friends ...
and hope to keep in contact with them!
