There is always a lot of work to be done in October
preparing for the arrival of winter.
This year has been no exception, but in between work
and school we enjoyed some fall fun!
The boys have spent time hunting ...youth pheasant,
JR/SR deer hunt, small game, fall turkey
and Nathan is trying out archery hunting!
Grace and I had fun at Applefest -
lots of crafts, farmer's market and food vendors!
We drank a lot of fresh apple cider!
And we had a family day including a corn maze
and going out for pizza.
Teens vs. Parents
Parents were first to complete the maze
collecting all the stickers for the map....by 11 minutes!
We picked up our pottery from Grace's birthday
outing at Kilted Kiln.
Grace loves making tea in her teapot!
{my painted item is not shown because it may
or may not be a birthday gift for a friend}
Grace got her hair cut to donate to
Wigs for Kids.
This is her third time donating!
Remember this?
June 2015
The kids and I were T-boned totaling our truck.
Insurance money wasn't enough to replace the truck
so we bought an AWD vehicle for Matt
and his long commute.
But oh have we missed having a truck!
And now we do! We bought a used 2015 F-150!
And it is officially ours because it is dirty already!
So after 1 1/2 years of living with one vehicle...
we are back to two and so thankful for God's faithfulness!
We are blessed!
